お疲れです。

皆さんはシルバーウィークも終わってまた今日から色々動きだしていることでしょー。

ゴールデンウィークときて、シルバーウィークがあるならブロンズウィークもそのうち出来ちゃうんじゃないでしょーか。

ゆとり教育は間違いだったと認めた日本教育と言っても、子供達も、そー先生方もみんながみんな休日は好きなものです！

と、自分でもなんのこっちゃーな感じになってきたのでここらで本題に。

今回はだいぶ前に書いたNike TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS[TOC]の続きを。

もう1つの準決勝はWEST 4TH ST.を制したX-MENとNIKE PRO CITYを制したN.I.K.E.1の対戦でした。

X-MENはWEST 4THのLEGEND、"Smush" Parkerをプラスして物凄い面子になってしまいました。

X-MENの唯一のweak pointが個人的にはPGだと思っていたので、Smushが入ったのは物凄くチームにとってデカイと思いました。

今まではPGが駄目な時はオールラウンダーなMike "King of New York" CampbellがPGをこなし、球運びからfinishまで何でもこなしていたので、彼の負担がSmush加入によって減ることが出来ましたね。

試合はN.I.K.E.1的にはpro city MVPのDarren "DP" Phillipを欠いた為に苦しい試合となってしまいました。

おそらく体重100kgぐらいあるかもしれないPower PGのJohn "Mookie" Thomasもいつもは点を取れるのですが、Smushとのマッチアップで苦しみ思う様にいってないように感じ取れましたね。

試合の方は個々の能力もそうですが、それよりもチームとしての差が歴然と出ましたね。X-MENはチームとして戦う姿勢が凄いあるのでNYでは珍しい感じのチームです。しかし観ていて気持ちの良いチームですね。

残り僅かでこの点差にまでなってしまいました。

Brooklynの英雄で、NIKE battle groundでも有名なJunie Sandersも全くと言っていいほど出すすべが無かったです。

この寂しげな後ろ姿が全てを物語っていました。

ということで決勝はX-MEN VS. Sean Bell All-Starsとなりました。

さて今日は皆さんにマーケティング活動の告知でーす。

SBM創刊と共に、HPを立ち上げたり、オリジナルTシャツを

作ったりと、色々と盛り上がっちゃってる感じですが。。。

それに伴い、今回Press Releaseを複数の媒体に配信

してました！その活動の甲斐があって、昨日9月16日に

我らがSpaceBall MagがNYの日系新聞のひとつである

Daily Sunで紹介されましたー！

いやー、予想していたよりも結構大きい記事になってますよ！カラーですよ！

テンションあがりますよ！！編集長のフルネーム紹介つきですよｖｖ

"What's New"と題され大きな枠で紹介してもらっちゃってます。

この新聞は名前のとおりDailyで発行されているので、今から

入手するのは難しいかもしれませんが、NYの在住の方、日系の

お店にいったら9月16日版があるかチェックしてみてくださいね～。

それとNYなどトライステイト在住ではない方にはなじみのない新聞だと思うので、ちょっと補足説明ざます。

Daily SunはNY在住の日本人であれば誰もが知っているほどの

有名なフリー日刊新聞で、東海岸では最多発行部数を誇る媒体です。

加えてHPによると、なんと約300カ所に配布・設置されてるそうですよ。

というわけで、嬉しい悲鳴をあげているところなのですが、今日はもうひとつ、カルフォルニア在住の方に朗報！？（であってほしい）告知です。

9月23日より、こちらも日系情報誌であるLighthouseでSBMの

紹介をしてもらえることになりましたー☆

今度も写真つきですよー！要チェキです。というわけで、主な配布先は以下参照。

マガジンを製作しているときも楽しいけど、こうやって世の中に広まって、形になっている瞬間もまた嬉しい瞬間ですねー。

Summer is not over yet.

Lower Manhattan Classic[LMC] had a championship game on Sep. 13th at LES.

Championship card was team Young gunnaz[Y.G.] and Uninvited Guest[U.G.].

First half, team Y.G. was leading the game.

Smell from Y.G. was dishing other players to score. He led the team.

Also OJ from Y.G. was playing hard in the post. Jumping into the paint to get offensive rebounds to get second chances.

On the other hand, U.G. playing press defense to make them turn overs. It worked good and made fast breaks. I saw chemistry of team U.G. But it was still not enough to catch up. 39-30 Young Gunners up and first half ended.

OJ from Young Gunners had 16pts and Boone from U.G. had also 16pts in first half.

Second half, U.G. came back.

They had energy to win, they kept pressing to get down by 2.

Larry from U.G. was killing in the post. Boone from U.G. was scoring in the paint.

Both teams had foul troubles so that has been free throw game for a while.

At 23 seconds left, the score was 69-66 Young Gunners was up by 3.

Then U.G.'s offense, Larry got the ball in the post. Fear of his post up play made a guy to go double team.

Larry didn't miss the timing. He dished Jalon cutting to the lane. He made easy lay up and U.G. was down by 1.

8 seconds left, Smell got fouled. He made first but he missed second.

Larry got the rebound and he saw up front and Jalon was running.

Larry immediately passed him and he made the big lay up in a second left. Young Gunners couldn't do anything in a second.

70-70 the game went over time.

The game was seesaw game in over time.

Smell had ball up top to play one on one. He drove into the lane and he made a big and one.

But Larry was hot. He got the ball in the post again and made and one to get back.

About 20seconds left the score was 81-81, Jalon from U.G. kept the ball to run the clock.

Jalon penetrated to lay it up then he got the big foul. He's given two important free throws.

He missed first shot but second shot.

82-81. U.G. finally got the lead.

It was only 6 seconds left.

Smell grabbed the ball, quickly brought it to the front.

He shot it as no second. The ball hit the rim and couldn't be the winning shot.

Last score was 82-81.

Team U.G. played great game to get the championship.

From Young Gunners, OJ had 31pts and Smell had 23pts.

Larry from U.G. got MVP. He had 14pts and 15rebs.

Also Boone had 27pts.
