I went to watch Dyckman tournament. It was final.
It was already packed when I got to Dyckman court. But there were more people coming to watch the greatest game.
There were more than four thousands audiences in there I believe.
Audiences couldn't be fitted on the bench so that they stayed in the court and sipping and puffing stuffs.
The game started in the crowd anyways.
The game was low score. Beginning of first half, Kingdome all-star was creating fast breaks and played good D on team Bingo's all-stars.
But Kemba "EZ Pass" Walker for Bingo's all-stars wasn't happy about that. He started playing 1 on 1 and making the tough shots.
The game was mostly 1 on 1 show. The audiences were instigating the players to play 1 on 1 like yeahhhh.
2nd half was seesaw game. Last minutes, Kenny "Mr. Incredible" Satterfield on team Kingdome made and one then they were up by three.
Then Kemba got a foul and he made two free throws.
Then, the lights went off. It was 11 O'clock. There was only 30 secs left and game was interrupted.
But the light came back for about 10mins waiting. The game started again. It was about 30 secs remaining.
Kareem "Best Kept Secret" Reid held the ball then he gotta foul. He got 1-2 free throws, he made the first shot then Kingdome was up by 1. Score was 69-70.
The second shot, he missed it then Ant Glover [I-Robot] got the offensive rebound. He immediately got fouled, it was only 5 secs left.
He should be nervous in the crazy crowd championship.
But he made the two big free throws.
Final score was 71-70. Bingo's all-stars got the great win for Dyckman championship game.
Also Bingo's all-stars got road to the Tournament Of Chiampions[TOC].

ういーっす。
いやー暑い日がまだまだ続いています。
汗びっしょりです。
そんな昨日はHarlemの119th btw 2nd n 3rd Aveで行われているTOGETHER WE CHILL[TWC]の決勝戦を観戦しに行ってきました。
決勝に駒を進めたのはT.O.S[RED]とKRISPY KUTZ[GREY]でした。
会場にはその後にDYCKMANの準決勝を控えているKareem "BEST KEPT SECRET" Reid, Total Packageもいましたね。彼らは昨日無事に勝って、今夜DYCKMAN決勝に進出です。
話をTWCに戻すと、序盤先手を取ったのはT.O.S aka Dominican Powerでした。
OF reboundからsecond chanceをものにして安定した攻撃でした。
中でもBaby Shaqは小さいけれどゴール下を支配していましたね。圧巻でした。
しかし対するKRISPY KUTZ（以後KK）もアウトサイドのシュートが決まっていて1Q終了時には27:27と同点でした。
2QはKKのDFが利いて、7点差を付けて前半終了。
3Qは逆にT.O.Sが波にのって追いつき、同点のまま4Qへ。
Baby Shaqが6ファールで退場してからは終始KKが指導権を握っていました。
最後はT.O.Sも頑張りましたが追いつかず、86:83でKRISPY KUTZの優勝。

MVPは20得点あげた#23 Jesse Sappが獲得。
KKはおそらくHarlemのteamだと思います。彼らに対する地元の応援が凄かった。選手はHarlem出身のcrossing guardもいたし。
Harlemっていうか、Together We Chillの観客達は試合をかなり作りますね。選手達に故意に1on1を要求するので、監督達も大変なことでしょう。
後はマナーなんてものはないです。
途中に変な大人が小さい子供を叩いて、叩かれた子が父親を呼びに行ってそこでもめたり、自分の隣りで観戦してた女子高生くらいの子達は吸っちゃ駄目なモノ巻いて吸ってたり、他の観客たちも紙コップに蓋してストローで赤ワイン呑んでたり（NYは法的に野外で飲酒禁止）であの場所はまさに治外法権でした。
最後はシャンペンやら水やら訳の分からないものやらが空に向かって大量に発射されて終了。
そのまま朝までparty all night..

Top of pageN.I.K.E 1 wins pro city

I went to watch the final of nike pro city last Thursday night.
I missed the first half but it was still great game!
It was close game at the end of 1st half, N.I.K.E. 1 was up by 9. But 2nd half N.I.K.E. 1 started playing D on them and scoring.
It was tough game for PDG Queensbridge causes of missing two big players, Ron Artest [LAL] and Ryan "Special FX" Williams.
In 3rd quarter, PDG Queensbridge had hard time for scoring. N.I.K.E. 1 was playing great defense on them.
N.I.K.E. 1's offense, Darren "DP" Phillip was killing them in the post. Also John "Mookie" Thomas was running for the team N.I.K.E. 1. PDG Queensbridge couldn't stop their inside and outside game. Last quarter was a party for N.I.K.E. 1. Throw the ally-oops and did some crazy stuffs.
Score was 134-107.
N.I.K.E. 1 won the championship.
Darren Phillip got his second MVP with 28pts and 17rbs.
So they can make NIKE Tournament of Champions at Goat park on Saturday.

いやー暑い熱い夏日が続いています、NYCです。
先日の日曜日にはWEST 4TH STREET TOURNAMENTの決勝戦を観戦してきました。
対戦カードはDIAMOND vs X-MEN。
X-MENは前回2008年度の優勝チームでもあります。
試合の方は昨年度MVPである、Mike "King of New York" Campbellを中心にOFを組み立て、しっかりしたチームDFで相手を抑えて、1Q終了時には32-13とし、事実上1Qで試合を決めました。

対するDIAMONDはPGのJohn "Mookie" Thomasが29得点と孤軍奮闘しましたが、全く歯が立ちませんでした。
X-MENは交代してくる選手達全員が自分の役割を果たしている印象を受けました。

最終的には117-100で終了。
MVPにはX-MENのインサイドの柱、Tommie “Gunz” Eddieが32得点で受賞しました。
Tommie EddieはMike Campbell（28得点）からの合わせをしっかりと決め、試合途中には4連続3Pも沈める大活躍で、納得の受賞でした。
これでX-MENは2008,2009と2連覇です。
そしてX-MENは今週の土曜日にGoat Parkにて行われるNIKE Tournament of ChampionsにWEST 4TH代表として出場します。

ういっすー。
ご無沙汰しています。
昨日はTri-State classicという、今NYCの中でも一番勢いがあって、レベルも高いストリートボールの大会の準決勝と決勝戦を観戦しに行きました。
一昨日に行われるはずだった注目の準決勝はOoh Way RecordsというNY street all starsというのがぴったりな豪華なチームと昨年の覇者、Money Trainの試合でした。その試合は一昨日に一応行われたのですが、前半の残り8:21で審判が帰ってしまうという事態が起きてしまい、昨日に持ち越された訳です。
何故に審判が帰ってしまったのか？皆さんはすぐに疑問に思うはずです。
Money Trainはホントに凄く良い面子で、fireballというNYで春先に行われている物凄いレベルの高い大会で今期優勝したのとほぼ同じ面子なのですが、開始早々、17-0でOoh Way Recordsに差をつけられたようです。
そして、Money Trainのコーチだかオーナーだかがジャッジしている審判に向かって「お前、試合後殺すからな！」と言ったらしく、その言葉に怒ったのか、ビビったのか分かりませんが、その審判が帰ってしまったらしいです。
おそらく後者だと自分は思いますね。
お互いのチームのプライドは勿論、双方のチームが選手達に払っているお金もあるしで、やっているほうは本気です。
勿論審判や大会側も本気で笛を吹いたり、運営していて本気です。
でも大きなチームには目には見えない大きな力があるのも確かなのが事実。
本当に人、1人殺せる力が無いとは言いきれません。
2、3日前にはMoney Trainの試合の時に、DYCKMAN tournamentという有名な大会でも殺傷事件が起きたと聞きました。
そんな悪い噂や色々なマイナスな事が重なって、昨日は夕方6時に試合開始のはずが8時になっても審判が現れずに、結局また先送りになってしまいました。
選手やスタッフ達は全てコートに揃っているのに審判がいないだけで、試合ができません。
1500人くらい来ていた観客達も時間が押し過ぎてイライラしてましたね。観客達からしたら少しTSCの評価が落ちたかもしれません。
そんな自分も8:20くらいまで粘りましたが、諦め帰宅。
物事には必ず光と影があります。
ストリートボールはただカッコいいだけじゃありません。
今回は影の部分が多く出てしまったと感じました。
また報告します。

Konnichiwa-guys!
I went to basketball event called BAND of BALLERS with Tex and my man Kenji Hilke today. Also my man Bobbito Garcia was there.
It's a 3on3 tournament sponsored by Converse "Weapon".
And then Jim Jones was there. He was playing this tournament. I knew that he likes to play ball. He has some team for streetball tournament of NY.
And he is good baller too. I didn't know that until I saw him today.
